If you have an older version of Java 1.3 (rather than 1.3_001 (sp?)) this can
be picked up by accident and cause grief. When I checked my system I discovered
I had four JREs installed ... oh the joys of automatic updates! A little house
cleaning later and everything started working again. (NT 4.0 SP 6a)
