Trying to accommodate the legal idiosyncrasy of one country or one group
of countries is an exercise in futility.  You can never conform to all
legislation everywhere, especially since different jurisdictions will
often have conflicting legislation.

Security should concentrate on keeping the product secure, not on
catering to every arbitrary legislative mandate made by every
jurisdiction in which the product might happen to be used.  I hope no
effort will be wasted trying to please EU legislators.
