Trying to accommodate the legal idiosyncrasy of one country or one group of countries is an exercise in futility. You can never conform to all legislation everywhere, especially since different jurisdictions will often have conflicting legislation.
Security should concentrate on keeping the product secure, not on catering to every arbitrary legislative mandate made by every jurisdiction in which the product might happen to be used. I hope no effort will be wasted trying to please EU legislators. -- Anthony _______________________________________________ Mozilla-security mailing list Mozilla-security@mozilla.org http://mail.mozilla.org/listinfo/mozilla-security
