I'm new to XPCOM and just studied the sample. So I have a question:
Is there any case where a scriptable function needs to be called from cpp in the mozilla source? Would this be allowed?
I'm thinking about extending an existing cpp function which could then be reused by the prefs panel, so it would then be called in the described way.
