I played w/ it a little more, and found the following: The Cache folder above indeed stores temporary files, however, there are 2 unknowns for me at this time: 1. How would i be able to identify which file an object is in, knowing the object's URL, and possibly other characteristics (size, etc.)? There appears to be something like md5sum involved, on the basis of several object characteristics. 2. Why does Page Info in Firefox list, for instance, list several more Cache objects for a recently viewed new page, than i'm able to identify in the Cache folder when sorting it by date? I think the answer to question 2 might be provided by the answer to question 1, or perhaps it's just a matter of those several objects having been cached on prior dates, and re-used (although i don't remember having been to this site before, it is possible). Thanks.
