Now comes the confusion, some of the 'quality exchange groups' are demanding using LAME 3.90.2 and mabee 3.92 but no other permutation, but mentioned in hydrogenaudio.org, it is recommended to use 3.90.3. But as of now LAME has gone thru many versions upto it's current 3.93
You should avoid 3.93 and use 3.93.1 instead.
You could also use 3.90.3 if you want. This version is 3.92 with new presets from 3.93/3.93.1
