Excellent! I had wondered about that. I will make a script for generating tarballs for mpir. It will touch these files, remove .svn directories and build the documentation so we can put it up on the web somewhere. If we have any remaining issues with script permissions that is when we could deal with those, but I think someone may have fixed that issue in the repo already.
