Just noticed both Cygwin(64) and MPIR 2.6.0 have yasm 1.2.0, but it
looks as if Cygwin would patch it (from the package version).

You may try to use Cygwin's yasm, or look whether they do anything
significant to its vanilla sources.

Hmmm, doesn't look like, or at least I couldn't find anything relevant.

Perhaps GCC miscompiles it on your machine...


Could you post a configure+build[+make check] log somewhere (e.g. Sage trac ticket #14648)?
