[Mpls] and speaking of the police department

I got a _fundraising_ call the weekend before last from the police
federation.  I was too stunned to ask the questions that I should have.  It
seemed to be for some kind of legal expenses fund.  Has anyone else gotten
a call like this or know more about it?
