Nothing contributed to anything of a political nature is tax deductible
anymore. Money and in-kind contributions must be reported at certain levels.
But never would a political campaign or any organizations spending more than
20% of its revenues and resources on influencing voters or the votes of
elected officials be able to hold 501(c)(3) tax status. The tax designation
for advocacy is 501(c)(4).
