I look forward to the creation of a permanent
"progressive" caucus should that occur. Maybe that's a
good first step at addressing some of the issue
concerns that many on the left have with the party.
But I would hope that we can all agree that anyone who
is active as a party member in a DIFFERENT political
party has forfeited their right to play a role in the
DFL. A big tent is fine, but there's only so far it
should stretch.
