Is it really their job to keep the city clean? What is your role and
responsibility in keeping the city clean? If it really is someone elses
job to keep this city clean, I suppose it would be easier for me to just
dump all of my garbage in the alley and let someone else pick it up. Why
should I bother with trash bags and dumpsters?

Why is it the responsibility of the city to clean up after people who
intentionally litter? Everyone of us is capable of carrying our trash
home to be disposed of properly. We are not owed trash cans on every
street corner. In my opinion, it is this "it is not my responsibility"
attitude displayed by many that has resulted in a lot of litter being
strewn across my neighborhood. Where is your personal responsibility in
controlling litter?
