Correction David, (see his post below)

DFL endorsed candidate in Ward 12 Sandy Colvin Roy has been and (as far as I
know) continues to be a staunch ally and supporter of Mayor Sharon Sayles
Belton.

Interestingly, in earlier lit-drops in the ward Colvin Roy dropped the
Mayor's lit WITH hers, but not in the last drop before the primary.

Colvin Roy has voted with the Sayles Belton-Cherryhomes-Campbell majority on
every major vote -- for the Target subsidy, Block-E and a publicly-funded
stadium, and against the 1999 Affordable Housing Task force recommendations.

I suspect Sandy Colvin Roy will try to run away from the Mayor (also a 12th
ward resident), but I believe this year the voters won't buy it.

Subject: [Mpls] Minneapolis ward results for mayor

RT won 6 wards (2, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13), and in only one the major DFL
council candidate did not endorse him after the primary. That makes 9th
ward heir apparent Gary Schiff's "no endorsement" especially
interesting.
