Good places to eat? You cannot miss Jakeeno's! Best veggie pizza in town. They knew me by name. And they have always been supportive of the neighborhoods. The first event I organized for Central they donated 24 pizzas. They delivered them at intervals so that they were always hot and fresh. I have not had the good fortune to find one I like as well here in Tampa.
And my son (my baby boy turned 21 yesterday - proud mama) and I used to make our midnight runs to the White Castle on Lake Street. I was told they had WC in Florida once upon a time. I miss those. The ones in the freezer section at the grocery store are just not the same to me.
