I agree with Dean Carlson - this should be a happy day and the
stadium-haters are already raining on it.  Boo!

I certainly hope the agreement reached today will give some new momentum to
all those who have worked so hard to keep the (AL Central leading and
playoffs-bound!) Twins in Minnesota and especially to our city leaders and
unabashed baseball fans like my councilman who recognize the importance of
having Major League Baseball in Minneapolis.

Now if you'll excuse me, there's a ballgame on tonight!  Go Twins!
