I have observed substantial numbers of a medium sized butterfly (moth?) lingering on my zinnias this week. They are very pretty, and not shy, therefore, I suppose they are highly destructive to habitat (irony).
To my untrained eye part of their wing looks like a monarch; closer to the body is even more dazzling color and pattern. Cute. I think they have moth type bodies; but do not ask me why.
