I have had union jobs, non-union jobs and am now self employed. I was most frustrated when working for the union company. I have always been an over-achiever, and I felt the union policies held me back. The non-union employer I had was wonderful. We both benefited greatly from the relationship.
It is clear to me there are good and bad employers -- with no relation to union representation. For the sake of the community, I hope this new business thrives. I am going to stop by today!
