Hello List!

In a message dated September 6th, I wrote to you in sheer frustrations of
the Lucy Laney school my daughter attended in North Minneapolis. It may be
that some on this list did not believe me what I wrote, and thus sent an
email to the principal of the school, with possible dialog. Let me first
tell you the kind of parent I am. What ever I wrote on this list, believe me
I've already said it to them, the school. This is a Minneapolis issues list,
am I not correct? and the MPS is and should be an open target, if they are
not educating our children to the fullest or doing things within it's power
to make sure "all" children in their district are being educated, or helped;
Not criticized or made to be punished if their parents stand up for them, as
parents ought to. When it comes to my children, I will not be take a back
seat to let ego's do what they may. I will always, always come to the aid of
my children, and refuse to be silent.

I just would like to say, against me, you can say and do all you want, and
you do, but when it comes to my children, my six-year old Bucca, all I ask
is think before you being to speak, I won't suffer, however my child does,
and did. Because of this she is not in any school.. Can you imagine a child
who loves school, and cannot go because of people in the need be in control
and flex their power? When my little Bucca looks out the window seeing
other kids going to school, but she cannot, it destroys her, little by
little and bit by bit. All, because of of an email sent from this post, and
a principal that needs to be in control, and show me something. Wow! imagine
that. What a wonderful world.

We all talk about doing something better, we all talk about the children,
gee whiz, where is the aid to my little girl and other little children like
her? Where is Bucca's justice? It's no wonder why people don't vote, why
should they when it does not work for them, only those who know somebody of
somebody... Heaven help us when we speak out then the children suffer.

Just one last word, I will continue to fight for my daughter, because she is
beautiful; black; loving; peaceful; smart; and she is my little girl....come
after me not her...
