You are absolutely right Paul. I did forget to mention them. I ate lunch at the Wolves Den a couple weeks ago. The soup and sandwiches are superb.
I just got back from Aldi's. It was packed. Very different from any grocery store I have ever been in. Eggs were .35/dozen and butter was 1.25. Prices in there are very reasonable but you can't be attached to brand name because they are different from what I am used to for the mostpart. They had lemon sorbet scooped into real lemons and frozen. Interesting. I don't believe I have seen those even at Lund's. The business must be helping Franklin Street Bakery. By the time I got there they were out of everything. Life is good in Ventura Village. I can't think of a more deserving neighborhood.
