I am strongly opposed to the PRT system. I believe if one does not own a car, have access to a car, or does not like to travel in a car, but has the need to move around the city, public transportation is the way to go. That means sitting on the light rail, a bus, street car, whatever with you fellow Minneapolis citizens, and not isolating yourself in your personal travel capsule. I understand that sharing space with strangers on public transportation can sometimes be a pain, but that's life in the big city. Let's shore up our public transportation so we can get some of these cars off the roads without stringing a line of support towers on our major metro boulevards. Bill Dooley Kenny REMINDERS: 1.
