You can have problems if you install the software remotely, using Terminal Services, or if you install the software using your network ID if it is not an admin ID. You should use an admin ID to install. If you didn't, you might have to un-install, then create a 'local' machine admin ID first (create an ID (I use MQAdmin on every MQ server) and put it in the admin group), log on with that admin id and install MQ.
