We are running Integrator V2.1 and have the following situation: 1) Input message set has a 2 byte packed field. 2) Output message set has a 3 byte decimal field. 3) How do I in my ESQL statement get input field to just go to the output field? When we do a "SET" output field = input field we get an invalid translation error. We have also tried a CAST statement and it does not work.
Also how do I take a decimal field of 5 bytes and truncate the 1st byte and put the last 4 bytes to an output decimal field. SUBSTRING is for string data only????? Kraig P.
