Hi, Could somebody help us with the following question ?
In Integrator V2.1 we have the following situation:
1) Input message set has a 2 byte packed field.
2) Output message set has a 3 byte decimal field.
3) How do I in my ESQL statement get input field to just go to the
output field? When we do a "SET" output field = input field we get an
invalid translation error. We have also tried a CAST statement and it
does not work.
The following are the error messages that we get:
"80 ParserException BIP5285E: Message Translation Interface Parsing Errors
have occurred: Message set: 'DQBC6JC0BA001' , Message Format 'CWF' Message
Type Path 'DETAIL_MESSAGE_IN' ".
"80 ConversionException BIP5505E: Data conversion failed: Data invalid.
Type of data being read:packed decimal, no sign found, data:0000;
A data conversion during reading or writing of a message failed because the
input data was invalid for the output data type."
