I am getting a message in the event viewer on a Windows 2000 server stating that the maximum number of channels that can be in using simultaneously has been reached. We are using the default which I understand is 100. I know the value can be changed using MQSeries Services. Would increasing this value to 150 cause problems? Would it be necessary to stop the service to activate the change?
