I would love to have a tool like this, we were just discussing the recovery aspect of OS/390 MQSeries objects, and this would be a excellent SupportPac to assist in that effort. Please let us know who we should send cards and letters to encourage the continued support of this tool. Thanks Bill C.

The session was full and I believe he did the same session two or three times more. He spoke at length about this package and it benefits. I was convinced it was a worthwhile tool and a little surprised it was not part of the product itself. I later had to use it to recover a signiificant number of messages. It worked great. Hopefully, there are few more of us "BIBs" out there to persuade the author to update this SupportPac. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Cheers, Art PS - "BIBs" are Big Iron Bigots! However, Category 2 SupportPacs are provide AS-IS with no guarantee for future support or service. URL: http://www-3.ibm.com/software/integration/support/supportpacs/individual/mo1 2.html I had sent a note using the SupportPac interface under the Support section to ask the author about MO12 future support of V5.3 but no response was received. From my experience, I believe this to be a good tool that deserves full IBM support. I am sorry to see it lagging behind and possibly being discontinued. So, there are at least two of us who are interested in it continuing as a viable tool. Is there anyone else who might want to replay persistent messages out of their MQ logs? I don't think there would be too many people who would turn this down as an option. Unfortunately, I am unaware of any other method to replay messages out of the MQ logs. Is some where the source of MQ provided CSQ1LOGP available ? Or a DSECT for the log ? Or does some body have a similar program already written (asm, cobol ?) ? If all the above isnt true, are there third party products available ? At what price ?
