Kerry, We don't. But then we use MQ strictly as a transport and not as a database or repository. When we do upgrades, it's during a maintenance window and the applications have cleared the queues and shut down.
Of course if it ever was an issue, we'd probably use Reconda's AppWatch to unload the queue to a file. If we didn't have AppWatch, I'd whip something up in Perl to offload the queue to a file. -- T.Rob -----Original Message----- From: Kerry Swemmer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 20, 2004 5:14 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: MQ 5.2.1 to 5.3 -- Removal of MA88 Howzit T.Rob, As a matter of interest, how do you retain messages in a queue if you delete the folders during an uninstall/install?
