Yes, they are correct with SYSTEM.COMMAND.INPUT and
SYSTEM.DEFAULT.MODEL.QUEUE for input and reply respectively.
I created the channel SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN manually and put it in the
client config. with ip address/port correctly specified.
Other channels using the same port is working fine. Just not this one.

Yes, I've gotten it to work. In fact, it's worked since 1996. What kind
of problem are you having ? do you check off the MVS box ?
The queue is "SYSTEM.COMMAND.INPUT" (normally), not "SYSTEM.ADMIN.COMMAND".
