The PORT in qm.ini refers to the port used by the START LISTENER command in runmqsc. You can also use the runmqlsr command with options to achieve this.
inetd.conf is using amqcrsta, not runmqlsr Michael -----Original Message----- From: MQSeries List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: woensdag 23 februari 2005 18:01 To: [email protected] Subject: using the PORT= parameter in the qm.ini file. Does anyone have experience in using the "PORT=" parameter in the TCP stanza of the qm.ini file ? I've not gotten it to work, even after changing the /etc/services and /etc/inetd.conf Is it necessary to still have the inetd.conf entry ? Can we also have a different port defined for use in the services file ?
