to make WC1 member of you cluster, you need to perform 2 steps:
1. read the "queue manager clusters" manual
2. go to wc1 queuemanager and define a cluster receiver channel and a cluster sender channel on to one of the WS* repositories

So what do I do to get WC1 to join the cluster?

mhhhh... WS1 and WS2 are in the cluster, but i do not see WC1. It should show up in the "dis clusqmgr(*)" command,
from my point of view, WC1 has not joined the cluster yet.
anyway, if you put to a clusterqueue (from one of the WS* Queuemanagers) that is hosted on one of the WS* Queuemanagers
it should work.
what error do you get on the put?
could you include a "display qcluster(*)" from the queuemanager you are trying to make the put ? and - if the queue is on the
other queuemanager - the same for this queuemanager?

I have two servers WS1 and WS2 on one side of a firewall and contain full repositories. I have another server WC1 on the other side of the firewall setup to participate in the cluster. When I enter the "dis clusqmgr(*)" command I receive the following information.
dis clusqmgr(*)
1 : dis clusqmgr(*)
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(RSPBCS1) CLUSTER(CL.RSDB.P)
CHANNEL(TO.RSPBCS1.CL.RSDB.P)
AMQ8441: Display Cluster Queue Manager details.
CLUSQMGR(RSPBCS2) CLUSTER(CL.RSDB.P)
CHANNEL(TO.RSPBCS2.CL.RSDB.P)
So I think that WC1 is known to the cluster. I issue a "dis chstatus(*)" command to confirm and I received the following.
dis chstatus(*)
2 : dis chstatus(*)
AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(TO.RSPBCS1.CL.RSDB.P) XMITQ(SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE)
CONNAME(MPECMWS1.bcohome.bco.com(1414))
CURRENT CHLTYPE(CLUSSDR)
STATUS(RUNNING) RQMNAME(RSPBCS1)
AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(TO.RSPBCC1.CL.RSDB.P) XMITQ( )
CONNAME(10.128.26.108) CURRENT
CHLTYPE(CLUSRCVR) STATUS(RUNNING)
RQMNAME(RSPBCS1)
AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(TO.RSPBCC1.CL.RSDB.P) XMITQ( )
CONNAME(10.128.26.109) CURRENT
CHLTYPE(CLUSRCVR) STATUS(RUNNING)
RQMNAME(RSPBCS2)
AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(TO.RSPBCS2.CL.RSDB.P) XMITQ(SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE)
CONNAME(MPECMWS2.bcohome.bco.com(1414))
CURRENT CHLTYPE(CLUSSDR)
STATUS(RUNNING) RQMNAME(RSPBCS2)
But when I try and put to a queue defined with cluster attribute on each of the WS1 servers the request fails. I was under the impression that clustering would allow me to view the local queues defined with cluster on this remote system. I can "mqping" through port 1414 to two other non-clustered machines without being stopped by the firewall. Do I need to make other firewall changes to accommodate clustering?
TIA.
Doug
