Jay/All,
Attached is the .FDC file.
Having looked at the settings, they do seem high enough,
but we have upped Kernel.MSGMNI from 16 to 1024.
There must be something, which remains hidden, that
continues to cause this problem for us
Any ideas?
Vaughan
Go to /var/mqm/errors In here should be some files.......you
are interested in the ones that have .FDC on the end. These files are
somewhat criptic, but do tend to lead toward explaining what MQ is
complaining about. Do you have your IPCS parameters set high
enough......semaphores, shared memory segement sizes etc. These are
usually the cause of not being able to create a Queue Manager.

Subject: Help!
Hi,
We're hitting a
problem trying to get WebSphere MQ running under Linux on an Intel machine.
We downloaded
the WebSphere MQ 90 day trial from the IBM website, and we have
installed it on SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop V10.1, in a virtual
machine.
The message we
are getting is: AMQ8108 WebSphere MQ error (893) has occurred. This happens
when we try to verify the installation, entering the command: crtmqm -q
venus.queue.manager
Any ideas?
Regards,
Vaughan
