I did direct MQTT to Cosm connections as described here: http://mosquitto.org/2012/02/mqtt2pachube/ I'd forgotten that topic mapping existed on rsmb. It doesn't currently exist on mosquitto so I reimplemented that feature as a cosm specific mapping client. Doh! It does depend on libmosquitto 0.16 which still isn't released, so is of limited use at the moment.
