SNMPWALK is a program to do just that, walk the SNMP OID's: C:\snmp>snmpwalk Usage: snmpWalk Address | DNSName [StartOid] [options] StartOid: sysDescr object is default options: -v1 , use SNMPV1, default -v2 , use SNMPV2 -cCommunity_name, specify community default is 'public' -rN , retries default is N = 1 retry -tN , timeout in hundredths-seconds default is N = 100 = 1 second
Same as SNMPGET but the latter one is to 'get' only one OID and not walk the whole thing. Do you want it? If you're curious, yes.... Doesn't hurt to have it. You can get the Win32 version here: http://www.wtcs.org/snmp4tpc//gotowtcs.htm the file is called Win32Tools.exe If you want a GUI version that does something similar, try Getif: http://www.wtcs.org/snmp4tpc/getif.htm Have fun.... -MannyO -----Original Message----- From: Sam Martin [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2004 7:42 AM To: MRTG Subject: [mrtg] SNMPWALK All: What is SNMPWALK?
