Yes, PC1 is the machine I'm running MRTG on. It is a normal desktop, so its switched off regularly. The way I see it, "the gauge is getting stuck" when the PC is switched off. And about my second problem? It seems like MRTG has now latched onto eth1 and the same behavior is being replicated there! Funnily, I'm using eth0 for connecting to the net.
