E. Sammer resolved MRUNIT-8.

Resolution: Fixed
Using initial patch from Garret, found the last few remaining instances where
configuration wasn't passed along and fixed. This may have worked but been
broken due to MAPREDUCE-954 not being the final patch or something equally
hinky.
Tests pass. Pushed to trunk.
