Any thoughts on this or how we can make this change?
Could we add jira-users to the Assignable User permission so that we can
give credit to contributors without having to keep a contributors group
manually up to date?

Seems like we are currently doing this on a per person basis. Not sure

to enable it in general for new users and groups.
