Joe-

A Unique index should take care of it, but I recommend you add a Form Error
event procedure, trap error number 3022, and display a more "user friendly"
error message.

Hi John,

That now works great!
Do you suggest I right a routine to check dup SSN Numbers?
Right now I just have the No dup option on.
Also, (I know I'm pushing it..) Cna you give me some ideas on how to
put up a listbox instead of the msgbox so if someone chooses an
existing client it will open the same form with that clients info.

Thanks in Advance
Again!!
Joe
