I've been getting the error message "Error accessing file. Network
connection may have been lost." repeatedly on my computer at work
running XP Professional with Access2000.
This message comes up when I click on a record in the combo box drop
down on a form. Clicking OK in the error msg dialog window sends me
into VBA to the After Update event procedure that I believe was
created automatically when I added the combo box to my form.
I'm not saavy with VBA (yet!) and the lines of code look to be the
same as in another copy of the same form that DOES work.
I hope I'm clear enough here in explaining. This error message occurs
randomly on different operating systems. Yet, afterward the combo box
is un-usable and must be re-created.
Any suggestions?
Also, is there a difference, and what would that be, whether you
change a text box to a combo box on a form or when you add the combo
box to the form using the wizard?
