Hello All, First, I'm sorry it's taken so long to do this post but (as always) work got in the way. I noticed a post a while back about getting Access to size forms to fit screen resolution. The answer to the question was to purchase third party software which I thought was fair enough as if someone else has done the work for you then they deserve the money. Then I went to the site and saw just how much that was and I was shocked. So, in the interest of nobody getting charged excessively I am uploading a demo in Access 2003 that detects the screen resolution and resizes each form automatically before the first form opens. There are some things you have to do, like make a couple of user defined properties but the code is there to do that (just make sure the values are the same as the resolution you develop in). Also, the orphan form (the one without the frm prefix) has to be the start-up form. You could call the function from a Autoexec macro, but I hate macros.
Anyhow the file is called Resize.zip and is in the Files section so feel free to use it or any part of it (there are a couple of other good functions in there). Please forgive the lack of imagination in the design of the forms (again, no time) but I'm sure you will do it better. Off track but if anyone would like to take a few minutes to check out my web site I'd be very grateful for any feedback I can get. The site isn't ready for sales till next month so if you see anything wrong please let me know before I go live.
