Hi,
Regarding the soundfont selection, it works a bit differently now. You need
to set the soundfonts folder in Edit -> Preferences -> I/O and MuseScore
will list the available soundfonts in View -> Synthesizer.
In Qt Creator, you might want to add a deployment target to run "make
install" so the default soundfont is installed where MuseScore expects it.
Click Project, in the left toolbar, then Execute and Deployment and add
make install.
