It needs "lrelease" in there too.  Took me some doing muddling through 
this bit.

OK, I have sound!  I also have horrible clicks and pops, but I remember 
reading about that somewhere, and I'll work it out.

Will do, David.  I found the bug reporter you mention, but was hesitant 
to use it.

After 11 years at Rosegarden, it is very strange indeed for me to be 
coming to a different community as a clueless newbie.
