Hi, Werner and I tried a small optimization. See http://musescore.org/en/node/23546#comment-95304
It has to be said that it's a known behavior that big scores get slower. MuseScore is currently designed to make a relayout of the full score for any edit. AFAIK there is no plan to change this before the next release. The larger the score, the more elements to relayout and so the slower. And of course, if the more CPU, the faster... Nevertheless, it seems that on Windows, relayouting is slower than on Mac and Linux. We don't know all the causes yet, the little optimisation we made seems to improve the speed a bit but it's still slower than on the other platforms. lasconic ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Android apps run on BlackBerry 10 Introducing the new BlackBerry 10.2.1 Runtime for Android apps.
