I wonder, BTW, if there is any connection to the issue I mentioned once about
palette access being extremely slow the first time you try to drag something to
your score. Like even for an empty score, it takes around 10 seconds to drag
the first palette item to a score after startup. After that, everything is
normal. So ethung must be happening the first time you drag a palette item
that doesn't happen again, and whatever it is is unbelievably slow on my system.
