I found the ini file. It was not found automatically by spotlite, not sure why. But it appears to be in ~/.config/muse.org/MuseScore.ini The format of the file is not evident to me. And I didn't find any reference to this file nor its format in the documentation, other than how to reinitialize it back to the factory settings.
