*Context*: self-compiled today master under Linux Mint 17.3, Qt 5.8, Qt Creator 4.2.1
*Description*: the programme crashes with a segmentation fault when the "exec()" method is called for many of the dialogue boxes. For instance: *Steps*: 1) Start MuseScore 2) Select menu item "File | Open..." *result*: segmentation fault in /mscore/file.cpp/, line 852 (method /QStringList MuseScore::getOpenScoreNames(const QString& filter, const QString& title)/). *Note*: the only dialogue box I was able to open so far is the Preferences dialogue. This happens when running from within Qt Creator and from a command line. In any case no error message is provided beyond "Segmentation fault".
