When installing linux Mint or Ubuntu there is a procedure which asks the user if there are some specific characters on the keyboard, and to press some specific keys (for example, if I remember correctly w or y or z), so that after a couple of passages it automatically identifies the keyboard layout. I don't know if something similar is possible and/or doable in a cross-platform way, but I think it could be useful if the users installing MuseScore are in doubt about their current keyboard layout. Therefore, beside a list of common layouts for the given language, and a button to show all configurations in case the user has chosen a mixed combination (for example, in my laptop I use en-US as system language, but an Italian keyboard layout), I think it could be useful a button telling something like "Auto-detect" which would start such a procedure (if possible).
