Hi Bruce,
You may have found your answer already, but if not, you might like to
try MSPDebug (mspdebug.sourceforge.net). Once compiled, you should be
able to connect to your device with:
mspdebug rf2500
You can start a GDB stub with the "gdb" command, and then use
msp430-gdb for source-level debugging.
