I tried checking out the CVS for binutils from RedHat. The MSP430 stuff
seems to be in there apart from two things - the top level
configure.in/configure and the top level config.sub do not yet have
entries for the MSP430. When I fudge those in it seems to build a
working set of programs for the MSP430 target. I haven't checked the
results very thoroughly, though.

This target will appear in a current snapshot or next release.
I will not update any binutils package on sourceforge anymore.
