Some time back a posting mentioned the file README-MAINTAINER.txt from the packaging directory in cvs. It has worked many rime for myself and others and others across several generations of Fedora. This is the only time it has not just worked. Having only the information I have posted in this thread, I tend to agree with you. The results are the same using gcc version 4.1.2 or 3.4.6. How to sort it out is my current delima. >From the instructions in http://mspgcc.cvs.sourceforge.net/mspgcc/packaging/README-MAINTAINER.txt the following make file was composed: -------------- #build mspgcc tool chain based on #http://mspgcc.cvs.sourceforge.net/mspgcc/packaging/README-MAINTAINER.txt # #prepare /opt/mspgcc ( must be writable ). # all: mkdir -p mspgcc/sf cd mspgcc/sf; cvs - d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/mspgcc login cd mspgcc/sf; cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/mspgcc co -P . cd mspgcc/sf/packaging; make folders cd mspgcc/sf/packaging; export CC=gcc34; make build ---------------- Have a good day, Robert Harkins
