Sorry I took so long to reply.
How did you do this? I mean, I am now starting to build my own FET, for
which I found a document (TI's
http://focus.ti.com.cn/cn/lit/ug/slau138k/slau138k.pdf slau138k.pdf
document), and I intend to use it for developing under linux, using open
tools.
For this I wouldn't want to just copy schematics and make it work, but try
to understand how everything works. And so, here comes my question,
how did
you manage to understand the protocol between PC and FET? Is there any
official document where it explains how it works?
I got the protocol from the source code for the library from TI many
years ago. At the time they would give it to anyone.
I promise I won't ask the same question again :-) it's just that I'd
like to
help (even though I have much to learn and much work to do first). Did you
use any kind of "sniffer" tool between FET and USB? I work with the 2013,
2471 and 5419 micros, so I would be glad to help adding those.
Yes. Run the PC code and use a usb sniffer and you will see the packets.
Just copy them into the code.
I put the code on my blog, www.relavak.com
