Yes pretty sure you do. Intel has an SCS to SCCM integration, but didn't find it to be very useful. That was a couple years ago though so they may have made advances in that. Basically SCCM creates a random MebX password for each client and stores that in the database encrypted so you couldn't pull it out and use it a different way.
We created a PowerShell workaround to find systems that weren't compliant, add them to a collection, then call a separate program to wake the devices up. You could also use the Alarm clock function of vPro, but that wasn't around till about AMT 5 or 6 I think and required PowerShell locally so if you had any XP clients without PowerShell you couldn't touch them either.
