You have something set wrong, or something is wrong with your environment. If you setup a deployment and itβs available at Fri 9PM, and the deadline is Fri 11PM, and your machines are setup with a maintenance window of Sunday 9PM-11PM that updates will be installed on Sunday 9PM. If that box is checked it will not install updates outside the maintenance window until the deadline has past. I have that checked for clients but not servers. Usually make the updates available the evening I setup the deployment but set the deadline for the weekend. The clients don't install them outside of the window until after the deadline. If a user has their computer shut off after the deadline and during the maintenance window they will get updates installed as soon as the computer comes online.
